Split Leather Reins
Our Split leather reins are handmade by us here in Australia using quality 5mm approx thickness Hermann Oak leather. They have a loop and tie for bit attachment with redhide tie and are available in 3/4" width strap or a narrower 5/8" width.
The quality leather used in these reins is fully tanned and left undyed in a natural tone. This feature allows the leather to gain a rich, lovely golden brown colour over time with use.
Cut the full length of the hide these reins generally measure 7ft+
These reins are made to order. Please allow 5-10 business days for your order to be made.
