Leather Dog Collars
Our Leather Dog Collars are made to last! Hand made by us, they use quality real leather and will give many years of service for pooch. Our model - Millie the Kelpie -has been using hers for the last 5+ years and it's still going strong! She wears it to the beach, in the dam, around the paddocks, for daily walks and well...it gets a pretty rough life but has worn nicely!
Made with bridle leather and featuring solid brass or stainless steel buckles and dee that are riveted in place using heavy copper rivets, making for a strong collar. They are well suited to all dogs - in town or city dogs through to hard working farm dogs and otherwise.
Collars can also be personalised with pups name stamped or a name plate added for engraving of phone numbers/names. See our additional listings for this to add to your collar.
For correct sizing, measure the dogs neck then pick the sizing that is closest with a few holes up and down for adjustment or measure the old collar laid flat from where the leather folds over the buckle to the hole most often used. For puppies choose the size measured that is closest to the smallest hole (nearest buckle end) on collar to allow extra holes for growth. As a guide, Kelpies generally need a Medium size.
Extra Small - 3/4" Strap - Fits 9-12" or 23-30cm
Small - 3/4" or 1" Strap - Fits 11 - 14" or 28-35cm
Medium - 1" or 1 1/4" Strap- Fits 13 - 17" or 33-43cm
Large - 1" or 1 1/4" Strap- Fits 16 - 20" or 41-51cm
Extra Large - 1" or 1 1/4" Strap - Fits 19 - 23" or 48-58cm
Black - Black
Brown - Dark Brown/chocolate type tone
Mid Brown - Medium type mahogany tone brown
