In Hand Bridle - Draught
Designed and made to fit the heavy horse, these lovely in hand bridles are perfect for showing. They are simple in style with a classic design, yet beautifully made. These beautiful in hand bridles will help your horse stand out in the show ring with matching leather leads with chain and snap or with just snap also available.
Featuring a wider 1 1/4" (32mm) browband and noseband (tapering to 1" underneath) to show off the larger heavy horse face, they are made from quality bridle leather with solid brass or stainless steel buckles. These bridles can be made with our standard Swage buckles or the beautiful English made 'Crown' buckles. Crown buckles have a crown like shape and are solid brass or chrome plated over solid brass.
The design has a removable noseband strap should you wish to show your horse without the noseband. Once removed the noseband can't be seen that it has been removed.
They feature rosettes on sides of browband and are available as a flat surfaced 'Plain' rosette or a fancy design (available in stainless steel only) with lovely wheat edge or sunray type pattern.
For those after a standout rosette for their bridle, English made fancy pattern rosettes can be added if preferred. English made rosettes are lead filled on the backs or domed with pattern and feature a solid brass front that can also be chrome/nickel plated for a silver look to match stainless steel or the chrome Crown buckles. The designs available are very nice with a wide range to select from. If preffered we will email you the range to select from. They are ordered in specially so please allow a short leadtime of a few weeks for this. Selected designs are at times kept on hand for short leadtime orders.
This product is made to order. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your piece to be hand crafted to order with a slightly longer leadtime for orders with Crown buckles as these are special ordered. Please note that silver tone crown buckles are chrome plated over solid brass not stainless steel. We suggest that if you are selecting the Crown buckle in the silver tone to upgrade to a English made rosette as these can be plated to match.
