Birdie Tote Bag

Made using beautifully soft top quality Italian and New Zealand cowhides, these totes are simple yet stunning. Think buttery soft leathers in lovely tones, strong Italian leather handles in 5 complementary colours and brass or silver toned stud detail.

This gorgeous, compact yet roomy tote features one internal pocket in the side of the main bag that easily fits keys, phone and sunglasses or even an A5 notebook or diary. The design is unlined with raw edges that allows the bag to be folded in at the top for style and security or folded out. Our Mini version is compact and just as practical as our regular Birdie Tote only in a smaller handbag size - see Birdie Mini.

Perfectly suited for day to day use, work or out to dinner with friends, this smart and stylish tote complements an outfit and is beautiful to use. Each tote can be tailored to your needs as they are made to order. Choose your colour, handle, stud detail and size.

Extra options are available also with the option of a zip on top to close the bag. If you can't see the colour you'd like, let us know as there is a large range of colours we can source. Colours Available-

Veg Tan
- Black Slate, Espresso Brown, Rich Tan, Sand, Nude
Full grain vegetable tanned cowhide approx 1.2-1.5mm - aniline, this leather comes up beautifully once oiled giving a rich tone to the finished piece. Hardwearing and strong.
 
Woodland
- Whisky Brown or Black
A stunning caramel brown toned or black chrome tanned leather 1.8-2mm in thickness. This leather gains lovely distressed patina over time and has a matte look. Photo's can't describe how nice this leather really is. A hardwearing leather that will last.
 
Laguna
- Oak (Caramel) , Sesame (Ivory) , Notte (Navy), Cedar (Dark Brown)
A stunning leather with natural pull up effect. Tanned in Italy, this aniline is just beautiful. Oak is a gorgeous caramel colour, Notte a lovely Navy blue, Sesame a lovely soft light sesame tone, Cedar a dark brown rich with colour and warmth. These are a beautiful leather that is a 1mm soft feel.
 
Matte Limited Edition 
- Black, Red
A lovely Italian tanned leather that is just beautiful. Semi Aniline black, with pull up type effect on Red, this leather has a soft matte look to it whilst still holding shine.
 
Arctic Limited Edition
- Tan
This gorgeous leather is a lovely caramel tone in colour with a beautiful soft finish and a luxurious feel. Aniline tanned in Italy, it is hardwearing whilst being soft and supple. A stunning leather that is fast becoming a favourite. Lovely matched with contrasting dark brown or black handles.

Regular size is approximately 43cm (17") wide x 36cm (14") high x 11cm (4") deep
 
We can add a zip to these bags to secure closed. This option is $30 extra. Please contact us or advise at checkout if required.

These totes generally can be made to order within 5-8 business days provided we have the leather colour required on hand. At times we may be able to ship earlier, especially if it is a colour we have made up on hand. If we are out of stock of a leather or you would like a custom colour, please allow us a few extra days to allow time to receive the leather from our supplier and handcraft your beautiful bag to order.
